Il casolare, ubicato in mezzo alle colline toscane del Chianti, sorge a soli 3 km da Monteriggioni e si trova sulla “Via Francigena” che, nel Medioevo, univa Canterbury a Roma.
La struttura, edificata all’inizio del X secolo, veniva utilizzata come stazione di sosta per i pellegrini ed era proprietà di un monastero.
I proprietari oggi ne hanno fatto la loro dimora e trasformato alcune sezioni della proprietà in abitazioni.
Anche la strada per raggiungere il cascinale è molto suggestiva: si attraversano colline con ai lati bosco e vigneti e gli ultimi 300 metri della strada sono delimitati da una lunga fila di cipressi.
Da uno dei lati del cascinale, dove si trova il pergolato di un appartamento al piano terra, si ha una magnifica vista sia sul vigneto dei proprietari, sia sulla fortezza medievale di Monteriggioni.
La proprietà dispone di una piscina leggermente rialzata dal terreno che misura 5x10 metri (profondità costante di 2 metri) aperta da metà Aprile a fine Ottobre.
I proprietari possiedono cani e gatti e accettano volentieri anche gli animali dei loro ospiti. I tre appartamenti che vengono affittati non dispongono di un giardino recintato.
Gli appartamenti a piano terra hanno ciascuno un ingresso indipendente e una propria zona esterna dove poter fare colazione o cenare all’aperto. L’unico appartamento situato al primo piano ha a disposizione un ampio e lungo loggiato che si affaccia sul vigneto.
Per un gruppo che affitta due appartamenti viene offerto uno sconto del 5%; per chi, invece, volesse prenotare tutte e tre gli appartamenti verrà offerto uno sconto dell’8%.

IL CAMPO (1° piano) E’ ubicato sopra all’abitazione dei proprietari. E’ l’appartamento più ampio (58m² circa) e vi si accede per mezzo di una caratteristica scala in pietra esterna. L’ingresso è posto alla fine di un lungo loggiato di cui gli ospiti possono usufruire in maniera esclusiva. L’appartamento dispone di un ampio soggiorno, angolo cottura, divano letto matrimoniale, bagno con doccia e di una camera matrimoniale dove, all’occorrenza, è possibile aggiungere un letto singolo o per neonati.

IL POZZO (p. terra a destra) Misura circa 45m². E’ ideale per una coppia o per una coppia con un bambino . Ha un angolo cottura, soggiorno con letto singolo, camino ed una camera matrimoniale con all’interno bagno con vasca/doccia. All’esterno, sul lato che si affaccia sulla vigna, c’è un pergolato riservato agli ospiti de “Il Pozzo”.

IL BOSCO (p. terra a sinistra) Misura circa 45m². Anche questo appartamento è ideale per una coppia o per una coppia con un bambino . Ha l’ingresso sotto un loggiato, non distante da quello de “Il Pozzo”. Si compone di un soggiorno dove sono presenti un angolo cottura ed un letto singolo. Dal soggiorno, per mezzo di una porta a vetri si accede alla camera matrimoniale con al suo interno un bagno con doccia. Dalla camera, per mezzo di una porta-finestra si può accedere ad una zona ombreggiata riservata ai clienti de “Il Bosco”.

L’arredamento degli appartamenti è semplice ma funzionale. Tutti gli appartamenti hanno la Tv con Sat (puntato su Hot Bird).
Al loro arrivo gli ospiti avranno la cena di benvenuto offerta dai proprietari.

 LA CASCINA The cottage, located amid the Tuscan hills of Chianti, is only 3 km from Monteriggioni, and along the  road “Via Francigena” which, in the Middle Ages, connected Canterbury to Rome.
The cottage, built at the beginning of the 10th century, was used as a stopover for pilgrims and belonged to a monastery.
Its owners live there now and have changed some areas of the property into flats.
The road that leads to the cottage is also very charming: you drive among hills with woods and vineyards on their sides, and the last 300 metres of the road are lined with cypresses.
On one side of the cottage, where there is the pergola of a ground floor flat, you can have a beautiful view over the owners’ vineyard and Monteriggioni’s Medieval fortress.
There is a slightly elevated swimming pool in the property (5 x 5m and with  a constant depth of 2m), which is open from mid April until October.
The proprietors own cats and dogs themselves, therefore, they are willing to accept also their guests’ pets. The three flats to be let do not  have a fenced garden.
All the flats on the ground floor have an independent entrance door and an  outside area where guests can take their meals.  The only flat on the first floor has a large portico overlooking the vineyard.
People renting two flats will be given a 5% discount. Those who want to rent  the three flats will be offered an 8% discount instead.

 IL CAMPO (1st floor) This flat ss above the owners’ flat. It is the largest one (about 58sqm) and  is reachable by means of a characteristic external stone staircase. The entrance is at the end of a long portico which is exclusively reserved for guests. The flat has a large living room with a double sofa bed and a cooking area, a bathroom with a shower and a double bedroom where, if necessary, you can add a single bed or a cot.

IL POZZO (ground floor on the right) This flat is about 45sqm. It is ideal for a couple or for a couple with a child. It has a cooking area, a living room with a single bed, a fireplace and a double en suite bedroom (with a tub/shower). Outside, on the side that overlooks the vineyard, there is a pergola reserved for “Il Pozzo” guests.

IL BOSCO (ground floor on the left) This flat is about 45sqm, and, like “Il Pozzo” is ideal for a couple or for a couple with a child. Its entrance is under a porch, not far from “Il Pozzo” entrance. It has a living room with a cooking area and a single bed. From the living room, through a glass door, you can get to the en suite double bedroom (with a shower). From the bedroom, through a French door, you can get to an external shadowy area which is reserved for “Il Bosco” guests.

The flats are simply but functionally furnished and are all equipped with Sat TV (dish pointed towards Hot Bird).

When guests arrive they will be invited to dinner by the owners who also produce a very good wine!!

 LA CASCINA Inmitten toskanischer Hügel, nur 3 km von Monteriggioni entfernt, auf der „Via Francigena“ (Strasse, die im Altertum Canterbury und Rom verband) steht ein einsames Haus.
Erbaut im 10ten Jahrhundert war es Teil eines Klosters und wurde als Hospiz benützt um Pilger zu beherbergen.
Die Besitzer haben daraus ihr Wohnhaus gemacht und einen Teil davon in Wohnungen unterteilt.
Auch die Strasse zum Haus ist sehr wirkungsvoll, da sie durch eine Landschaft zwischen Hügeln, Haine, Weinberge und die letzten 300 m durch eine Zipressenallee führt. Von einer Seite des Hauses, wo sich im Parterre der Bogengang einer der beiden Wohnungen befindet, hat man eine wunderbare Aussicht auf die Weinberge der Besitzer und auf die Festung von Monteriggioni.
Der Besitz hat ein leicht erhöhtes Schwimmbad, 5x10m (Tiefe 2m durchgehend), offen ab mitte April bis ende Oktober.
Tiere sind erlaubt, da auch die Besitzer Hunde und Katzen halten, jedoch sind die drei Wohnungen nicht eingezäunt.
Die Wohnungen im Parterre haben beide einen separaten Eingang und je eine eigene  Pergola wo man draußen essen kann. Die einzige Wohnung im 1. Stock verfügt über einen weiten, langen Bogengang mit Blick auf den Weinberg der Besitzer.
Für die Miete von zwei Wohnungen wird ein Skonto von 5%  und für alle 3 Wohnungen einen von 8% gewährt.

IL CAMPO ( E.S.) Liegt über den Wohnräumen der Besitzer. Es ist die größte Wohnung (58m2 ca.), die man über eine charakteristische, steinerne Aussentreppe erreicht. Der Eingang liegt am Ende eines weiten, langen Bogenganges und ist exklusiv den Mietern dieser Wohnung vorbehalten. Die Wohnung besitzt einen großen Wohnraum, Küchenzeile, Doppel-Sofabett, einer Dusche und ein Doppelzimmer worin, wenn nötig, ein drittes Bett (Kinderbett) hineingestellt werden kann.

IL POZZO (Parterre rechts) Größe ca. 45 m2. Auch diese Wohnung ist ideal für ein Paar, mit Kleinkind). Sie verfügt über eine Küchenzeile, Wohnraum mit Einzelbett, Kamin, einem Wohnraum mit Doppelbett und einem Raum mit Badewanne/Dusche. Draußen, auf der dem Rebberg zugewandten Seite ist ein Bogengang nur für die Gäste von „Il Pozzo“ reserviert.

IL BOSCO (Parterre links) Grösse ca. 45m2. Auch diese Wohnung ist ideal für ein Paar, mit Kleinkind. Der Eingang befindet sich unter einem Bogengang, in der Nähe von „Il Pozzo“. Sie verfügt über einen Wohnraum mit Küchenzeile und einem Einzelbett. Vom Wohnraum gelangt man durch eine Glastür in ein Doppelschlafzimmer mit Dusche. Von diesem Zimmer aus kommt man durch eine Fenstertür in einen schattigen Bogengang, der für die Gäste von „Il Bosco“ reserviert  ist.

Die Einrichtung aller Wohnungen ist einfach doch sehr praktisch. Alle Wohnungen verfügen über SAT-TV (Hot Bird).
Bei ihrer Ankunft wird den Gästen ein Wilkommensnachtessen von den Besitzern offeriert.
